Niantic, CT — Acclaimed pianist, composer, and performer Spencer Stanley returns to his roots for Home at the Piano, a one-night cabaret experience at The Niantic Bay Playhouse. Known for blending the emotional storytelling of musical theater with the energy of rock and pop, Stanley presents a set that features his own original songs alongside reimagined classics by Billy Joel and Elton John.

Described as “sexy… with the right moves, the perfect look and voice to match” (Paula Kaplan-Reiss, Berkshire Edge), Stanley has performed on some of the country’s most prestigious stages, including Carnegie Hall, The Goodspeed Opera House, 54 Below, and The Green Room 42. His work has earned him accolades such as the Berkshire Theatre Critics Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical, and he continues to captivate audiences with songs that linger long after the final note.

Home at the Piano is Stanley’s personal return to his hometown, a chance to reconnect with the community that shaped him and to share music that spans his journey — from the first piano keys he played to the original compositions he writes today. The performance promises an intimate evening of piano-driven storytelling, familiar classics, and songs that speak directly from the heart of an artist returning home.
