Don't miss our audition workshop June 20th or 21st at 6:00 with ELRT alum Spencer Stanley. Work on your audition song, hone your acting skills, and learn some tips and tricks to help you ace your next audition! There are limited spots available, so register ASAP!
Please prepare a short song or monologue (Around 1 minute). The workshop will last two hours. Everyone will get the chance to present their piece and receive feedback. An accompanist will be present, so please bring sheet music or a bluetooth speaker if presenting a song!
Spencer is currently attending the nation’s first Musical Theater program, the prestigious College-Conservatory of Music, to receive his BFA in Musical Theater. He was last seen in CT as Fred Graham in Kiss me Kate where he was awarded the Stephen Sondheim and Halo award for best actor in Connecticut. Professional credits include performing at 54 Below in NYC as well as the Goodspeed Opera House and Ivoryton Playhouse. He has also performed as a Jr. Cabaret Fellow and assistant Music Director at the Eugene O'Neil Theater Center. He has been a beloved camp counselor at ELRT’s performing arts camp for almost a decade, and is excited for the opportunity to share his talents with the next generation of performers. When not on stage, Spencer enjoys teaching voice lessons, playing the piano, and writing music.
Magical Musical Theater Camp

The curtain will soon RISE…on a summer filled with the magic of theater and learning!
Join us for a week full of Musical Theater for ages 6 through those entering 9th grade. Classes will be broken up into appropriate age groups.
The theater camp will meet Monday through Friday 8:30-12:30, at Niantic Bay Playhouse Classes will be taught in ACTING, SINGING, DANCING and ART FOR THE THEATER. Special guest artists will share master classes and conduct workshops for audition technique, improvisation, advanced dance, stage makeup and acting for the camera.
The week includes a Talent show night at the playhouse and ends with a fabulous performance for friends and family.
Tuition for this week-long program is $240 per student and includes a camp T-shirt, movie and ice cream party, tickets to talent show and final performance and special surprises for the campers.
Registration begins June 16th and is first come, first serve, so sign up right away.
*Award winning instructors and a fun-filled learning experience to PRACTICE, PARTICIPATE and PERFORM on a the new Niantic Bay Playhouse stage will make this a week to remember!
Our theater training is for all skill levels with advances technique classes as well. We will give every camper a chance to shine! We focus on self-confidence, self-expression, technique and of course, FUN!
